My name is Sonja Johnson. I am currently 20 years old, and until I was 18 years old I lived in the same house in Minneapolis, MN. A few days before my 17th birthday I met my boyfriend Jakob, who was doing an exchange year at my high school. After he went back home to Berlin, Germany, I went to the University of Minnesota in the PSEO program so that I could graduate high school early and move to Berlin. I was done with high school in December of my senior year, and then I moved to Berlin and worked as an Au Pair for a year. After that I focused on learning German for a while, while applying to different art schools in Berlin. I was accepted into the Fashion Design program at Lette Verein, which started in August 2012. It is a 3 year long program.
This blog is a place for me to share and record my experiences living in Germany, studying Fashion Design, and also a place for me to post whatever I feel like, be it outfits, pictures of places I travel to, whatever. It's fun for me and I like keeping a record of my life. It is also good for my family and friends in the USA to keep up with what I've been doing!
